An ideal position for shoulder relief

After certain surgeries or serious injuries, the shoulder joint needs to be immobilized with the upper arm pointing away from the body at a particular angle. SecuTec Omo secures this position with an adjustable joint splint. This holds the arm splint at a set distance from the wide, comfortable abdominal strap. The maximum angle is 60°.

SecuTec Omo thus prevents painful movements and takes the weight of the arm off your shoulder. Thanks to its user-friendly design, you won’t need a shoulder strap. This prevents you from adopting a posture to help relieve pain as well as tension in the healthy shoulder and the neck. An extending hand support helps relieve the wrist. The orthosis can be put on from the side, preventing unnecessary pain.

Since the orthosis leaves the shoulder completely free, everyday activities such as personal hygiene and wound care are significantly easier. The joint can be released at the press of a button, allowing you to move your shoulder inward and outward in a controlled manner. Thanks to three Velcro straps, your arm can easily be removed from its shell. This also helps you to start gentle physiotherapy at an early stage.
